Announcement

 In General, Public Safety

Dear Residents,

I want to share a few important reminders as you plan to celebrate our nation’s independence this weekend. Although summer is here, typically, many view this weekend as the big hit of summer. It is important for all to understand that the Association has in effect guidelines, as per the regulatory agencies, that are put in place to protect you, your loved ones, and our staff. We ask that you and your family and friends continue to exercise caution and follow the guidelines in place to help prevent the spread of COVID-19.

Recently, Governor Wolf released an update on face coverings. It is imperative that all residents, family members, and guests wear face coverings at all common areas and facilities. T-Shirts pulled up over your face, and a hand covering your mouth are not considered to be adequate for covering your face.

Pools are open, and reservations have been working well. If you are a member in good standing and desire to go to the pool, you may access our website to make reservations.

***REMINDER That 2020 amenity badges are required at all facilities***

With this being the July 4th weekend, it is imperative that everyone understand that fireworks are not permitted within Penn Estates Property Owners Association. We want everyone to enjoy the Association and the holiday but need to emphasize that because you can purchase fireworks locally does not mean that they are ok to set off within the community; there are still Pennsylvania laws. Please, respect your neighbors and do not set-off fireworks as citations will be issued.

Saturday, July 4th, the Pennsylvania Fish and Boat Commission is hosting the second of its annual Fish for Free Days. This is an opportunity for you and your family to try fishing if you do not have a fishing license. This opportunity is for residents and non-residents for the day only.

We ask that you continue to treat each other and all that you encounter, with compassion and care in all that you do.

I wish you and yours well.
